It can be wild or cultivated, with wild varieties typically growing at altitudes below 1600 meters in hillsides, shrubs, ravines, roadsides, and near homes. It has multiple benefits; its leaves and flowers can be brewed into tea, while the fruit can be made into syrups, jams, or wine, offering high nutritional value.
