How to Make Sour Plum Powder
Method 1:
- Start by boiling a pot of water. Once it’s boiling, set it aside to cool to a warm temperature.
- Open the package of sour plum powder, take the warm water, and stir the sour plum powder into the water until well mixed.
- It's best to use warm water to dissolve the sour plum powder, with a ratio of 1:8 for the powder to water for the best flavor.
- If using sour plum paste, mix it with warm water at a ratio of 1:10 for the best taste.
- If you prefer it chilled, you can add a few ice cubes.
Method 2: Homemade Sour Plum Powder
- Ingredients: 7 dried plums.
- For the sour plum powder: Choose dried plums that aren't too salty. Separate the flesh from the pits (the pits can still be eaten, so don't waste them; adding some dried tangerine peel can enhance the flavor).
- Place the 7 pieces of dried plum flesh into a blender and blend until it becomes a fine powder.
