Plant Source – Fig
The fig (also known as Ficus Carica Juice Powder) is also called Anze, Anyi, Sunlit Fruit, Yutamba, Honey Fruit, Wenxian Fruit, Milk Fruit, and Pinxian Fruit. It is a deciduous small tree in the mulberry family, named for its fruit-bearing appearance without visible flowers. It mainly grows in tropical and temperate regions, including Syria, China, and Turkey. The enzymes in figs, such as lipase and hydrolase, help reduce and break down blood lipids, effectively decreasing fat deposits in blood vessels, lowering blood pressure, and preventing coronary heart disease. Figs are widely used in medicine and can also be eaten fresh.
